F87 M2 SIGNATURE TURBO-BACK EXHAUST SYSTEM

Active Autowerke is proud to announce the release of their Signature M2 Exhaust System. They acquired the M2 in April of 2016 and were the first in the country to get the car!  Made of 100% 304 TIG welded stainless steel, the modular exhaust system will provide enough flow to support power levels way above the stock M2. The new exhaust measures at 3.5” and doesn’t shrink an inch below it. 

The catless downpipe flows into the mandrel bent mid pipe all the way back to the rear section with no diameter change! That’s incredible. Instead of a single 3.5” pipe, the rear section splits into dual 3.5” pipes. One is valved and leads straight to the exhaust tips while the other leads straight to a muffler, reducing noise levels when the valve is closed. AA chose to use 3.5” legs on the Y so that the exhaust gases would have little-to-no restriction even when the valve is closed. 

The Y-pipe is hand built! It promises to maintain max exhaust velocity throughout the entire system. This is one best exhaust on the market, for sure. The exhaust velocity will remain as high as possible throughout the entire system because of the reduced back pressure and large single-pipe design. This design proves superior to the stock exhaust by being able to handle much higher power levels. Like usual, AA makes sure their product can provide the best ever performance. It’s over engineered to have no issues handling the increased exhaust volume from extensive modifications including turbo upgrades.

AA configured 7 different muffler and resonator setups before deciding on the final product.

Closed Valve: Louder than stock, but with great tone

Open Valve: Way louder, but w/o metallic sound of a full straight pipe exhaust
