But by upgrading your Supercharged Shelby GT500 to a AFCO Double Pass Heat Exchanger you can effectively disperse this extra heat lowering intake charge temperatures to eliminate detonation and increase horsepower.
Superior Construction. Using an all aluminum construction, AFCO double pass heat exchangers are much lighter and provide better thermal efficiency than stock allowing for a cooler intake charge. Each heat exchangers is 100% TIG welded by hand for the strongest and most uniformed welds possible, with no epoxy.
Application. This AFCO Double Pass Heat Exchanger is designed to be a direct fit replacement upgrade for the 2007 to 2012 Shelby GT500 equipped with the Supercharged DOHC 5.4L V8 engine.
