In addition to combating heat soak, the Active Autowerke Methanol Injection System also increases the engine's knock limit, providing insurance against unwanted high boost detonation. This system achieves precise delivery and metering of the methanol-water mix through its dedicated electronic module. The trunk-mounted 1.8+ gallon reservoir, equipped with an inline filter and low pickup tube, is perfectly suited for this task.
